Hey Guys,
I was getting bored of my current blusher and wanted to try something new. After looking through the stands in Boots I decided to go for the Bourjois Little Round Pot Blusher.
This blusher always gets rave reviews and I can now see why. I don't know why I haven't bought this before. I absolutely love it.
The packaging of it is just so lovely. It has a mirror inside the lid and comes with a little blusher brush. I know some people are not too sure about the blush. Some think its too small and abit scratchy but I think its great. As its a curved applicator brush I find its great to apply the colour and its really handy for when your on the go when you want to do touch ups. But I can honestly say that after I have applied this in the morning and check my face during the day, I have never had to do any touch up's. It lasts that long!
They come in a great range of shades and the colour are really highly pigmented. You can build the colour up or down and is easily bendable.
Im abit funny about how Make-Up smells sometimes and have found when I've applied funny smelly Make-up to my face I hate the fact I am wearing it. But you don't get that with this product as this smells amazing.
I would give this blusher 10 out of 10 and would definitely consider buying other Bourjois Blusher Pot's. I want them all!!
Have you tried any of the Bourjois Blusher Pot's What have you thought. Let me know :) xx

Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge
This has been a lust of mine for awhile. Its constantly wining awards for best blusher and a must have for celebs Make-Up bags. I have wandered past my local Bobbi Brown counter so many times thinking "should I or shouldn't I" But while out wandering at lunch time I decided to go for it and bought myself a little pot.
I have used several brands of creme blusher but this one has definitely taken the top spot. Its so creamy and blends like a dreams. It leaves you with a lovely dewy finish on your skin. You can build up the colour of the blush so you can decide if you want a light or a more fuller colour.
With other creme blushes I have found that the colour doesn't tend to last that long. It usually disappears after a couple of hours. With this one I've found it last
nearly all day. I very rarely have to touch up.
Not only can you use this on your checks you can also use it on your lips. I have to be honest, when I've tried this I wasn't really impressed. It did provide a glossy lip colour but it didn't last for long. The colour soon disappeared after eating and drinking. I think I will stick to my usual gloss.
All in all I love this blusher. Can't believe I have waited sooo long to buy it. This have definitely found a permanent place in my Make-Up bag.
Have you ever tried this blush? What did you think? Are there any other creme blushes you have used and liked? Let me know :) xx
I was struggling to decide what colour to choose so the kind SA offered to test afew colours on me to see which one suited me best. The blushes come in a great range of colours so it was hard to pick. In the end the colour I went for was Powder Pink

April Favourites
Hey Guys,
Sorry this post is late. I've had a busy few days the past week. I've recently got a new job and its been non stop. Hopefully I can now get back to do my weekly blogs.
Here are my favourite products for the past month
Estee Lauder Pore Minimizing Lotion
This has been on my "wish list" for awhile so I thought I would take the plunge and buy a bottle. I won't go on too much about it as I will be doing a review on this shorty but since using this I have noticed a big difference in my skin tone. I use this in the morning after I've toned and before I apply my moisturiser. I love how my skin looks after I have applied it. Matt and smooth. It also provides a great base for my moisturiser. Love it:)
Nivea Daily Essential Moisturiser - Oily & Combination Skin

Nivea Daily Essential Moisturiser - Oily & Combination Skin
I've been using this moisturiser on and off for the past year. I don't know why I keep going away from it because as soon as I start using a different moisturiser my skin starts to play up. I think maybe I don't find it glamours enough. :) Its an oil free moisturiser which is great for my skin as i have oily/combination skin. Its soaks into my skin straight away and doesn't leave my skin looking or feeling greasy. It keeps my shine free and doesn't clog my pores. Its also acts as a great base for my Make-up which I struggle to find. It retails from £2.99 - £3.99. Its a great bargain.
Avon Ultra Colour Rich Mega Impact Lipstick - Really Rosy
This has to be my all time favourite lipstick. The colour lasts from when i apply it on a morning around 7ish till about lunchtime. Even if I eat during the morning the lipstick stays put. It has a lovely glossy finish and very moisturising for the lips. When this is on offer I try and stock up. Definitely can't be without this lipstick.

Avene Thermal Spring Water spray
I bought this after reading other bloggers reviews saying how good it is and I agree with them. I use this on my face after I have applied my Make-Up. I find it sets my Make-Up and provides me with a lovely dewy glow. I also use this during the day to freshen my skin when I find its looking abit dull and lacking abit of life. At £3.99 everyone should have a bottle in their Make-Up bag.
Lipcote
I love love love this. When I apply this over my lipstick it last for ages. It doesn't matter if I use a high end lipstick or a £1 lipstick. This works on everything. If you want lipstick to last, use this.
What do you think of my April Favourites? Have you used any of them and what have you thought? Let me know :) xx

MUA Lipsticks
I've always said that you can never have enough lipsticks so while I was in town the other day I popped into Superdrug and picked up 3 MUA lipsticks. Unfortunately, the Superdrug shop near me are always hit and miss with stocking up the MUA stand but I got lucky when I went in.
Im a big fan of their lipsticks and already have a couple of them in my collection. For only a £1 these are a great bargain. These are the shades I picked up;
I find that these lipsticks provide a lovely shimmer/satin finish. They are very moisturising to your lips and don't dry them out that I have found some lipsticks do. They are soo easy to apply as they glide onto your lips. They come in a great choice of colours and you can build up the intensity of the colour.
The only negative thing I have is that compared to the high-end lipsticks I have used these don't really have the staying power. I do find myself having to re-apply more than I would normally. But considering that they only cost £1 I can live with this!!
If you haven't tried any of these lipsticks then you must. For only £1 they are such a great buy and you can't go wrong with them. And if you find that they don't work for you, you don't really have the guilt that you have wasted your money.

April's Glossybox
It
feels like I’ve been waiting forever for his months Glossybox but
its finally arrived!!
This
months box is a Natural Beauty box. You get five natural beauty
products to try out and the box itself is 100% biodegradable!!!
In
my beauty box I got;
Caudalie
Vinosource SOS Thirst-Quenching Serum - This is
newly-launched product. You apply morning and night before your
moisturiser. I've just started to use the Beauty Elixir by
Caudalie and love it so I was very excited that I got an Caudalie product. Can't
wait to start using this!
Inika
Cosmetics Certified Organic Eyeliner - I have to be
honest when I say I have never heard of this brand before. I’m
always willing to try something new so I think I will use this for
the next week instead of my usual eyeliner.
Ayuuri
Natural Body Wash - There were four options of body wash
you could have received. I got the Sandalwood wash which just smells so lovely. As soon as I finish my current body wash this will
definitely take the spot.
Figs
& Rouge Lip Balm - I’m a big fan of lip balms so
this will happily go straight into my Make-Up bag. The tin is sooo
cute. It makes me not want to use it and ruin it :) And as a added bonus you
can even use it on your skin.
KAI
- Perfume Oil - I have never used perfume oil before so
it will be nice to try something new. The fragrance is very florally
which I am not always a fan of so I'm not too sure about this.
I
am happy with the products I received in this months box and can't
wait to start using them. What did you receive in your Glossybox box and what were your favourites? Let me know :) xx

Soap & Glory Hand Food
I first got my tube of Hand Food at Christmas from my BF
sister. I was so happy when I saw it as I had been always tempted to try it but
just never got round to doing so.
The first thing you notice is the lovely pink tube design. As
a fan of all things pink and girly this ticked all the boxes straight away. You can’t
help put want one!! I squeeze about a 5 pence size amount of the cream onto the
back of my hand, as this is where I seem to have the most dryness, and rub it
in between both hands. From there I work it in into the rest of my hands.
The thing you notice is how quickly your hands become sooo
soft. Straight away it provides an instant relief to dry hands. The cream
sinks into your hands and doesn’t leave them feeling greasy afterwards like I
have found with other hand creams. The softness feeling and the lovely floral and fruity fragrance lasts all day. It even comes in a smaller tube so you can even keep one in your bag!! You can pick one up from the Soap & Glory website for £4.85 or from Boots.com or Boots stores for £5.00. It’s a definite bargain and is has
replaced my usual expensive hand cream.
Have you tried this hand cream and what did you think? Would you recommand any other Soap & Glory products. Let me know :) xx

Mario Badescu Drying Lotion
Hey Everyone,
For the best few months my skin has broken out really badly. I don't think I have been doing/using anything different. I have been trying lots of different spot/blemish treatments and nothing seems to help.
I decided to go back to a spot treatment that I first tired about 2 years ago and did help to calm my spots.
Some of you might have heard of this cult classic. I think it’s a must for people who suffer with
spots/blemishes. The Mario Badescu website says The Drying
Lotion is a fast acting,
effective acne spot treatment. Formulated with salicylic acid, calamine and
other quick-drying ingredients, this product will shrink ugly whiteheads
virtually overnight while you sleep. While other acne spot treatments can
irritate and dry delicate or sensitive skin, this product is safe and effective
for all skin types.
I find it best applied using a cotton bud. After cleansing, toning and mosisturising put the bud into
the pink mixture at the bottom of the bottle and pop a little bit of the
mixture onto your spot/blemish then leave it to dry. Do not shake the bottle and apply only the pink sediment on the skin. Do not rub it in. You don’t need a lot as a
little goes along way. The current bottle I have has last me since November. I do find that this is best used every
other night. For me using this every night tends to dry the skin and makes it
flaky. But I guess you can stop this happening if you use a good
moisturiser.

The next morning rinse the lotion off your face. You may have found that the pink mixture may
have rubbed off your face during the night. The
spot/blemish should now appear less red/angry.
TOP TIP: Never apply this if you have picked the spot.
Speaking from one who knows It will sting alot when you apply the lotion and
the next morning the spot will not improve that much in appearance. Also use a
different cotton bud each time you apply the lotion to your face. If will help
against spreading more spots.
This is a product that I will always go to help make a
spot disappear quickly. You can buy this from beauty bay for £14.50 or from the Mario Badescu website by clicking here .
Has anyone of tried any of Mario Badescu products or the
Drying Lotion. If you have how have they worked for you? Let me know :) xx
